Sales Meeting 2022

On the occasion of the annual sales meeting, about 70 employees of ROVEMA GmbH from a total of 12 nations met before the summer break to discuss current developments and the implementation of the common growth strategy. The new technical developments around the sustainable packaging of food, as well as the offer of complex packaging lines from dosing to final shelf-ready packaging will contribute to the achievement of the goals.

CEO Christoph Gusenleitner, who has been managing Rovema's business since April, and Michael Theiss, Senior Vice President Machine Sales, led the event. The programme included the presentation of new and further product developments, the ROVEMA Life Cycle Service Team, the Second Life offer and reports of successful projects from various international markets. There were also presentations outside the lecture room: At the main production site of Rovema GmbH in Fernwald, there was a tour through a total of 15,000 m² of production and manufacturing space. ROVEMA is deliberately investing in efficient, modern processes; for example, a new CNC machining center was put into operation in 2021. The investment of more than half a million EUR helps ROVEMA to reduce downtimes and set-up times and to optimize the production of small quantities.

The shared passion for high-quality packaging machines and the open company culture made for a productive and creative round of talks. Also outside the official setting, variety and lively exchanges between the international teams were enjoyed.

A big annual meeting of all sales companies and representatives has been part of the ROVEMA company strategy for many years and traditionally takes place at and around the headquarters in Fernwald.

Michael Theiss concluded: "We would like to thank our employees and partners for the successful event and the many interesting presentations, demonstrations and contributions. We look forward to a continued successful partnership - including the international packaging trade fair Interpack, which will take place in May 2023."
